The Basic Beliefs of the Catholic Church

The Catholic Church, the largest religion in the world, is often misunderstood, yet its core beliefs remain consistent over time.

We believe God created humans out of love and that all creation reflects His goodness. While we have the capacity for sin, the Church upholds the dignity of every person.

Catholics see the world as sacramental, where everything speaks of God's love and goodness.
We believe in stewardship—responsibly sharing our time, talents, and resources.

We believe in the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a community of love that invites us to share in that divine life. We also believe in the Church as a living community, united as the Body of Christ, reflecting the communal nature of the Trinity.

We believe God became human in Jesus Christ to walk among us, and through His crucifixion, death, and resurrection, we have hope for eternal life with Him. Additionally, we honor the communion of saints, who guide us in faith.
