Cemetery Committee
“To all who are alive may He grant forgiveness, and to all who have died a place of light and peace.”
The primary purpose of our Catholic Cemetery is to provide a proper resting place for our beloved dead, sacred places of prayer, beauty and peace where those who mourn can find comfort.
The parish cemetery upholds Catholic values and traditions offering hope and consolation in our shared belief of the Resurrection. Burial options and services are available. The Committee advises the Pastor on the care, enhancement and supervision of proper procedures for burials in the cemetery.

Parish Veteran's Memorial
The Parish Veterans’ Memorial in the Parish Cemetery was designed and constructed by parishioner Alexander Sirois during the summer and fall of 2009. This project served as his Eagle Scout service project and he was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout in November 2009. The memorial consists of a small garden area with two granite benches on each side. Seasonal ornamental plants and flowers adorn the small garden area which consists of stone pavers in the shape of a “T”. The centerpiece of the memorial is a granite headstone dedicated to all those who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States during peace and war. The three words “Duty, Honor, Country” are inscribed at the top along with a quotation from one of America’s greatest statesman, Daniel Webster. The seals of the Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, Merchant Marines, and Air Force are at the bottom of the headstone.
The Parish Veterans’ Memorial was dedicated on Sunday, November, 13, 2009. The Memorial Mass was followed by a procession to the Parish Cemetery led by Father Lawrence Sherdel. Colorguards from the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, and the Catholic War Veterans along with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Scouts, and parishoners processed to the cemetery for the brief ceremony. Parishoner SGM Jeffrey McMaster, USAR, delivered the keynote address followed by a rifle salute by the Hanover Area Veterans Council colorguard and the playing of taps. A short reception followed the ceremony.
