Girl Scouts

Serving as a Girl Scout today means being a part of a worldwide organization that builds leadership skills by providing girls with opportunities to discover their interests, connect with others, and take action.

The Junior Troop 80719 meets every other Monday after school from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the scout house on the corner of Main and 3rd Street in McSherrystown, PA (across the street from Annunciation B.V.M. Church.) They work on earning Girl Scout Badges, Plan Service Projects, Attend Day Camp, So on Trips, Make Crafts, Have Ceremonies, Go Camping and learn how eo make the world a better place and to be a sister to every girl scout. Juniors are 4th and 5th grade girls.

Scholarships are available to Senior girls who have been involved and have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, which is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

We look forward to building a Daisy Troop, Brownie Troop, a Cadette and Senior Troop. Anyone is welcome to become a leader.
